9 Weeks Old
Timber is doing great!
I'm already amazed by the little guy. He went almost non stop for
the first two days and then finally zonked out half of the day today.
He's been sleeping well all night in his crate with almost no crying and
has been on a couple of short walks in the woods already. Also, he
and his new friend Sonny, our year old cat, hit it right off.
11 Weeks Old
Just a quick update.
Timber got his boosters and a good once over today. The vet said
he looks terrific. Very good hips and a clean bill of health.
He already weighs 20 lbs. We also got the rest of our paper work
from you today so we'll get that registration in the mail in the next week
along with the avid stuff. He is a wonderful pup. Exactly what
we were hoping for. He's already sitting and coming on command, walking
relatively well on a leash, potty trained and doing some short retrieves
inside! Really a smart, fast learner with a great personality.
Here’s another photo. Thanks again for everything, he's terrific.

Baby II / Yukon

Hello Susan & Steve
We just wanted to surface and tell you how happy we are with Baby’s little girl, Ivy. She is growing like a weed and is amazing. Ivy was fully house trained after just 10 days. When she needs to go, she goes to the door and waits. She will sit with either a command or a hand sign. We all think that she is very smart and she attracts attention where ever she goes. She passed her first vet check with flying colors and our vet said that you must be an excellent breeder based on Ivy, her parental certifications and your transfer agreement.
Thank you for allowing us to have this wonderful dog. We have bonded very tightly. Here is a picture from the last week or so.
Thanks again-

Hey Susan and Steve:
Tim and I wanted to send you a couple pictures of Maya at 10 weeks old, in case you are curious as to what she is growing into. Just some fun pictures. Enjoy!
P.S. Maya sits really nice, and responds to come, down, kennel, stay (a little), and fetch (when something is thrown). We have her in puppy classes for now and are excited for obedience training when she is old enough.
Thanks for the sweetheart puppy!

Dear Steve and Susan
Just a note to say how
much I enjoy your website. My Son and I have a 10 year old Golden
that is a pheasant hunting fool and a therapy dog as well. We will certainly
keep you in mind if we should need a pup in the future. It appears that
you have some very nice dogs and that they are all special to you. That
is something that you don't see in to many breeders !

Hi Susan and Steve:
Miller, our Lucee/Apollo pup is doing great. He is a great dog to have around the house. Since we got him there have been two other additions to our family, our son and our daughter, and Miller is great with both of them. Our two year old daughter climbs all over him and he doesn't mind at all. Our son is only 3 months old, but he will probably do them same thing soon enough.
We moved to Jefferson, WI, closer to my wifes parents. They have a lot of land for Miller to play at. He scares up rabbits and gophers and pheasants and anything else he can sniff out. His favorites are the pheasants though. He points them out and if we let him he goes barreling into the brush after them. He has so much energy and personality he is fun to watch. He is such a joy to have. I have included a couple of pictures. I hope everything goes well with Skye and her litter.
Thanks again.

Hi Susan and Steve,
It was good to hear from
you. Thunder is doing great and continues to be a great joy to our
family. He is extremely smart and very comical. The birthday
boy is also extremely spoiled!! We are very thankful that you chose
our family to raise him. How are his siblings doing? Thunder
is 62 pounds and I think he looks just like his Dad-Apollo, with his Mom's-Lucee's
playful personality. He is too friendly for his own good at times.
Thanks again and keep in touch. Enjoy the photos.

Dear Susan and Steven
This is Roxie, the Fancy/Chief pup Shellie Kremer and Jodi Grady presented to me for Father’s Day back in 2000. We picked her up in June. I had in her in the field that fall for both pheasant and geese hunting. She couldn't carry a goose yet, but she never gave up and she has hunted everything that is a game bird in MT.
She has no problem bringing any of the birds back that I have trained her on. Black birds, pigeons, and grackles and pheasant parts just to give her a taste of the different game and junk birds. She will be seven this year and to me it's very sad, she's a great gun dog. Out of her litter of pups the people that wanted hunters got great dogs. Thanks for Roxie and have a great 2007.
