| “Lace” was a very “gifted”
retriever. A superior marking dog, she had tremendous drive
and determination. She was exciting to watch whether it be on land
or in the water. She also had a great sense of humor. A couple
of little tricks she did at the hunt tests made the judges look up and
take notice. Nothing to disqualify her, just something to tease.
Her pedigree lists many exceptional Golden Greats of type, talent and health.
Her temperament was one that was extremely happy, loving, easy going, and
eager to please. A truly “Golden Dog”.
She had breezed thru her Junior Title going 4 for 4. She was very talented, more dog than we knew what to do with; we thought after a litter of puppies by Gentleman Bailey Gun N Gold MH WCX it would be in her best interest if we sent her South for the winter with a Pro Handler. It wasn’t. She was killed in three weeks, and the loss was unspeakable……… |
