“Fancy” was always my most playful and is 11 years old now and still going strong.  Whether it is a bird or a squeaky toy, she always has to have something in her mouth.  It is her job to pick up the toys after everyone has left them all over the house and she does a great job.  She either packs them all under herself or keeps them right in front of her, where she can keep track of them.  Even raising a litter, my females all get along, always gentle with human visitors.

She had the ability to pass on her fun loving traits to her offspring. They are energetic, birdy and athletic.  She has offspring running in hunt test competition at present.  Many are family and hunting companions, while others are trying their talents with obedience and agility. Her 3 year old daughter, Sunshine's Fancy Allie Sheba SH "Allie" achieved her Senior Hunter title in Hondo, TX. April 20, 2005.  Nancy and Ed Gerhardt say Allie "talks" just like her momma and still carries slippers around, like Fancy as well.

Badger State Hunting Retriever Club sponsored a Double Header Upland Test Saturday, March 15, 2003, Eagle Dog Training Area, Eagle, Wisconsin.  This and the Land of Lakes Tests were he and “Sadie” qualified were the first Upland Tests that Mike had every seen and he really caught on quick.  He and Sadie make a great team; Sunshine Goldens is extremely proud of their accomplishments. SHR UH Sunshine Hightimes Sadie SH WC went four for four, always qualifying during her competitions in UKC-HRC Upland Hunt Tests making her the first Golden Retriever to achieve her Upland Hunter Title in Minnesota.  She was also the youngest retriever; the labs that earned their titles that day were 2 and 3 years older than she. They were the first Minnesota dogs to earn a UH title.  Fancy’s daughter, “Sadie” only needs three more legs for her AKC Master Hunter title.

Sunshine Good Time Henry SH WCX  is doing fantastic job .  He is one of the best looking Golden Retriever males that I have ever seen and looking forward to using him.  Henry had an outstanding year in 2003 earning his Junior Hunter Title in four straight passes and completing his GRCA WC the following weekend.  Henry also earned his first Senior Hunter pass in August of 2003 before the close of the area Hunt Test Season.  In the 2004 Hunt Test Season Henry completed his Senior Hunter Title with passes at Rice Creek, Northern Flight, and Blackhawk.   He has a friendly outgoing disposition, with the ability to stand up to the pressures of daily training and testing. He has good field skills and is a willing worker that loves to train. When he returns home from training, Henry is a full time house pet.

Sunshine Golden Blaze JH had 3 passes going into NFHRA hunt test May 28-29,2005. Doug Bringgold said she actually would have went 4 for 4 if it wasn't for her handler, him, making a dumb mistake on the final water retrieve at Rice Creek two weeks prior to that. He titled her with a JH on Saturday of the NFHRA tests. He does intend on going on to Seniors and might do some  WC-WCX and HRC tests also.
